UK Minister for Children on fatherhood, 03/04/06 [S]
The UK Minister for Children spoke regarding the importance of fathers in children's lives at the Fathers Direct's seminar in London in January. The Minister spoke in terms of better social, educational and emotional outcomes when fathers are involved. She also highlighted the importance of involved fatherhood in challenging gender stereotypes and influencing the attitudes that children can have to being parents themselves.
