Education Committee considers Draft ASL Code of Practice, 25/05/05 [S]
At their meeting on 25 May 2005 the Education Committee took evidence on the Draft Additional Support for Learning Code of Practice.
In his evidence to the Committee his Euan Robson, Deputy Minister for Education and Young People, said that the final version of the Code of Practice is due to be published in late August 2005. It will be issued to all schools, education authorities, social work services, NHS Boards, further and higher education institutions, and a range of voluntary organisations. He also said that the Additional Support for Learning (Scotland) Act will come into effect on 14 November 2005.
