Health and Safety on Educational Excursions, 30/12/04 [S]

This good practice guide has been produced by the Scottish Executive for teachers and others such as youth groups and sports clubs who organise outdoor educational opportunities for young people. The guidelines are simple and aim to ensure that all excursions are well planned and put pupil safety first.

Learning and Teaching Scotland will take forward the development of outdoor education including the appointment of a development officer and an audit of the current provision of outdoor education.
