PVG Partial Regulatory Impact Assessment Consultation, 10/11/09 - 02/02/10 [S]

The Scottish Government is consulting on the assessment of the impact of the PVG Scheme on public bodies, businesses and voluntary organisations. This partial Regulatory Impact Assessment focuses on the impact of the PVG Act and seven significant draft SSIs also to be published for consultation. Consultation to 2 February 2010.

The most significant of these statutory instruments are those which relate to:

• the scope of regulated work with children and adults;
• contractors' access to disclosure records;
• offences which lead to automatic listing or automatic consideration for listing;
• the arrangements for retrospective checking; and
• fees for disclosures and scheme membership.
